About Tashkent State Agrarian University
The Tashkent State Agrarian University (TSAU) was founded on the basis of Tashkent Agriculture Institute in 1991. However the history of the university can be traced back to 1930.
TSAU has a main campus in Tashkent city and three regional branches in Nukus, Termez and Andijan.
There are the following faculties: agrobiology, plant protection and agrochemistry, silkworm and breeding, fruit and vegetable grooving and viticulture, forestry and ornamental gardening and storage and processing of products based on innovative technologies.
Within these faculties, TSAU offers 32 bachelor's degree majors, 35 master's and 22 PhD programmes, as well as doctorate programs (DSc).
TSU sits on a large area of land. Within the campus, there’s 11 educational buildings, five student hostels and a students' canteen.
The youth centre on the campus has an English language course, wellbeing and mental health support and a library centre.
There are student clubs for those with a passion for dance, singing, and arts – as well as a variety of sports teams. Sports competitions are held in the sports complex.
TSAU facilitates for students to participate in exchanges with partner universities to enhance global learning in relation to agriculture.
