About Augustine University
Augustine University is a private university which was established in 2015.
It is based on a 154 hectare campus on former farmland in Ilara, in the Epe district of Lagos State.
It is a small university, with 207 new students admitted in 2022. Some nine courses are offered by the faculty of humanities, management and social science and 12 courses in the faculty of science.
Courses on offer include cyber security, mass communication, political science, information technology, software, biotechnology and fisheries and agriculture among others.
Students must take Nigeria’s UTME entrance test in order to be admitted to the university. All students live on campus.
Facilities include the studio opened by the department of mass communication and media studies.
