About Arabian Gulf University
Arabian Gulf University (AGU) was established in 1980 in Bahrain to serve the people of the Co-operation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf (GCC) countries. Since then, AGU has emphasised meeting the needs of GCC communities by providing specialists and experts in different scientific and professional realms. It provides programmes that are unique in nature and are not offered in other colleges in the region, such as the bachelor of medicine programme, which follows the self-directed problem-based learning (PBL) model, and other technical programmes that address the latest advancements in technology, such as the geographic information system and remote sensing programmes.
